Alison Week is a producer based in Hawaii, known for managing complex productions for global clients and showcasing work at prestigious venues like the Portuguese Parliament and the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
She recently produced and co-directed (with Liz Barney) the feature documentary Island Cowgirls (PBS/Pacific Heartbeat, 2023) and produced the narrative feature Chaperone (dir. Zoë Eisenberg), which won the Grand Jury Breakout Award at Slamdance 2024. Both films were shot entirely on Hawaii Island.
Born and raised on Hawaii Island, she understands the privilege and unique challenges that face film productions on her island home. She line-produced Inheritance (Netflix) for Dir. Erin Lau in remote Kalapana, production managed the Hawaii unit of the IMAX documentary Einstein’s Incredible Universe on Maunakea for Cosmic Picture, and production managed network shows like Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch: Bloodline across the coastline.
Known for her hands-on approach and technical expertise, Alison is committed to telling authentic stories that uplift the local Hawaii film community and promote diversity in front of and behind the camera.
